In 2015, Cantera and its partners closed on the acquisition of a truck parking facility located in unincorporated Cook County, Illinois. The 8.8-acre property is located just off Interstate 55, in close proximity and with easy access to downtown Chicago. The site can accommodate a diverse range of uses, including general outside storage and tractor, trailer, and short truck parking, and features over 270 individual spaces. The current layout offers efficient maneuvering and easy to identify numbered spaces, and the site is fully-fenced, with ingress/egress security gate control and security cameras.

On December 10, 2018, Cantera and its partners executed a Lease Agreement for the site with a national trucking company, which will use the site in its entirety for tractor, trailer and container storage.
